What is FIRST Robotics?
For Inspiration & Recognition of Science & Technology
FIRST is a not-for-profit public charity that designs accessible, innovative programs that allow K-12 students to pursue education and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math, while building self-confidence, knowledge, and life skills.
FRC 2789: Team TEXPLOSION participates in a Robotics Competition, which allows high school students to cooperate with experienced mentors to build a robot. It is a worldwide competition that not only judges robot performance, but teams' business and marketing skills, community outreach, and website design.
What is Robotics?
Robotics is the construction, design, and use of robots. It also deals with the programming in order for their control and information processing.
Our goals for 2026
We plan on putting a lot in this years team reconstruction, so that we succeed in competition. Everyone will work together in trying to improve our team.
Our Team
We are doing multiple things so we can reach our goals. Sub-teams have been created, research has been done, and brainstorming is going to happen.
